Laura & Pinky's October Celebration

Laura & Pinky had intentionally diminutive flowers. Laura's bouquet of Dusty Miller, Craspedia, Brunia, Scabiosa Pods, Acacia, was topped with a small Echeveria and sprinkled with Delphenium blooms. It measured about 8" accross...so cute.

Keeping with the petite flowers, Laura and Pinky's family wore very small boutonniere's and corsages, whimsical Craspedia, paired with a sprig of Dusty Miller, and a smattering of seeds or tiny Waxflower blooms.

Since Laura had very few "flowery flowers" we incorporated lots of texture. Using atypical elements, we accomplished this dramatic mantlepiece. Arching birch, smooth river stones, and some very long Silver Falls, splashing all the way down to lay against the hearth.
